An Unsolicited Recommendation Letter from a past client that exemplifies the way we represent our clients

Dear Re/Max:

Subject: Agent Commendation Letter

1.      The purpose of this letter is to commend the efforts of one of your agents.  The agent:  Kelly Jones, 5501 Backlick Rd., Suite 100, Springfield, VA 22151. 

2.      Mr. Jones has greatly exceeded my expectations in helping me to sell my home.  It must be noted that, as of this date, my home is just now being officially listed.  But, because of my idiosyncrasies and special needs, having Kelly as my agent has been a godsend.  He has directly addressed my ‘unique’ situation with a fervor and professionalism that I find quite extraordinary, and which I greatly appreciate and applaud.  And, I am quite confident that I will get much more money for my home than I ever imagined, thanks directly to the sacrifices that he and his family have made for me.  Their efforts have measurably increased the value of my home while still ensuring that my individual requirements were met.

3.      I am well aware that, by increasing the value of my home, the size of Kelly’s commission will raise, too.  But, I know that Kelly didn’t make all the sacrifices he made simply to affect the amount of his commission.  Some of his work, and some of the sacrifices he made in supporting me, had nothing to do with the amount my home would sell for.  Realistically, I can’t think of anyone who was so willing to give up a day off with the family to help me the way Kelly was.  In fact, I had the opportunity to meet a couple members of his family, and I have never been so impressed with the way I was in watching his family support him and the way they worked together. 

4.      Kelly Jones is indeed blessed to have the family he does, and Re/Max is certainly blessed to have Kelly as a member of your corporate family.  I wish I could find the words to describe how much I appreciate what he as done for me, but I can’t.  What I do know, though, is that I will certainly recommend him to my friends and neighbors.  In fact, I have already begun to do so, even though my house has just hit the market and hasn’t (therefore) been sold yet.  I have already told a couple of my neighbors about all the things that Kelly has done for me, and each and every one of them have told me just how lucky I am to have found such a great agent. 

5.      Please, as an organization with thousands of agents, recognize Mr. Kelly Jones for his ability to far exceed the expectations of his clients.  Not only is he hardworking, dedicated and professional, but he is also an agent that is able to recognize and address the special needs of those that he is working for.  And, as a rather large entity, I would find it especially pleasing if you could also recognize the efforts his family has made in supporting his career.  Both he, and his family, have represented the Re/Max family so well that Re/Max will not only be my first choice in any future real estate dealings, but will also be the one company that I recommend to others without hesitation.  I can’t think of any better way to describe my appreciation for the efforts of Kelly (and his family) than that.
